Diana Ross as Queen

We just love Diana Ross here at Pop Blimp. Only last Sunday A_D_N was performing his 'Chain Reaction' dance routine on my living room floor. Now you may think that was a joke but it actually happened... ACTUALLY.

Well the lovely people over at Universal have sent us a real treat. The 1976 self-titled album 'Diana Ross' has just been re-released as a 2 CD expanded edition. The album includes some of the classics like 'Do You Know Where You're Going To' and the achingly cool 'Love Hangover' which still sounds fresh today. Somebody needs to remix this track NOW for 2012. Granted not all of the tracks are as killer cool as 'Love Hangover'. We can only imagine that 'Kiss Me Now' sounded fantastic in 1976. However, we get the feeling that the likes of Beyonce have digested these tracks for breakfast in the hope of regurgitating something that could only ever be half as amazing.

This deluxe edition is a must for any Diana Ross fan. The beautiful packaging (Diana looks AMAZING) and alternative versions on CD2 will have die-hard fans squealing with excitement. Hear our squeals....
