She is a little collector-holic, who passes through time holding on to trinket memories in many forms, be it a postcard, charity shop find, photo or newspaper clipping. This habit comes from the nostalgic longing for an absent something or someone that she loves, and this nostalgia is transposed in her latest album 'Good Fortune, Bad Weather'. It's an electronic minefield of emotion, sometime fun, sometimes subdued, but overall the album is a sensation station. It's a really easy listen, she blends electronics, guitar and vocal into some fabulous tracks. I have spent the whole morning listening, my personal favourites are On and On, Lucky (both below), Crash and Burn and Bitter.
The album is out on the 21st May.
