Kylie's latest album 'The Abbey Road Sessions'  reworks and remasters some of her most iconic work into  acoustic and orchestral tracks.  My favourite Kylie track has always been 'Confide in Me' due to dark and eerie elements, and the Abbey Road track doesn't disappoint!  Her album is out today, so check out some of the tracks below!

We've been more excited than ever since we heard that Kylie was releasing a new song for us this month.  Forget the Queen's Jubilee, this year is all about K25.  25 years since the release of 'Locomotion', Kylie's first single in her native Australia, and she STILL has us in the palm of her hand.  On the 25th of every month we've been given a special treat from the lady's website and this month has been the best so far.  Last month Kylie was spotted in Soho, London, filming the video for the track.  Take a listen for yourself.  Its classic dancefloor Kylie and we just LOVE it.  The single and video are available on iTunes.  Take us to the disco... Kylie Minogue Anti-Tour Review

Kylie's recent gigs in Manchester and London were purely for the hardcore fans, which is damn fine with us since we cannot possibly get more hardcore. This year marks Kylie's 25th year in music and K25, as it has become commonly known, is providing us with some real treats. As advertised on the ticket for the Anti-Tour, Kyles sang a mixture of B-Sides, Rarities and Demos. In other words... songs only the fans would know.

There was a real sense that Kylie was completely committed to pleasing the audience. For months twitter followers had been asked to tweet their favourite rare tracks so that she could sing songs that they most wanted to hear. It was like listening to old friends as Kylie stormed her way through the tracks 'Always Find The Time' and 'Made In Heaven'. Only two tracks included in the gigs ever made the charts - 1988's 'Got To Be Certain' and 1990's 'Tears On My Pillow'. Both have rarely seen the light of day since.

Of course Kylie's voice was on top form. Don't listen to anybody that tells you she can't sing... this gal can knock out a disco stomper one minute and break your heart with a ballad like 'Bittersweet Goodbye' the next (was it written about Michael?). Its hard to believe that some of these songs were passed over, even for an album release. The tracks recorded around the time of 'X' were, dare I say, better than many of the tracks chosen for that album. 'You're The One' was only ever leaked onto the internet but the fans knew every word and for good reason. 'You're The One' is EPIC.

It was unusual not to see Kylie on a huge stage surrounded by semi-naked men and feathers but it allowed us to see her in a completely different light. She appeared free and having more fun than ever. We loved the part where she got the lyrics out for 'It's No Secret' admitting that she had found them on Google and then proceeded to sing it Acapella while her band looked on in astonishment. Earlier in the show she told us "we are going there... and I mean really going there" before whipping us up into a frenzy with the Stock Aitken and Waterman penned "I'm Over Dreaming (Over You)".

So... We'll stop gushing for now but just one last thing. As a pop artist Kylie is just about as close to perfection as you get. Here's to another 25 years.
