LADYTRON - Gravity the Seducer

How exciting this Sunday has just become!

Why oh Why?

Well, home grown UK electronic band 'LADYTRON' are releasing their new album 'Gravity the Seducer' and it will hit the UK shelves tomorrow (12th September) and the US on the following day.

So to Celebrate the new release and generally all things TRON, we decided to post something special showcasing tracks from the new album and Pop Blimp's Favourite 'LADYTRON'.

Firstly to snippits from the new Album. Lets start with 'White Elephant', a preceding single that was released earlier this year. In typical 'LADYTRON' style the video is another 'classico dynamo' with a masquerade theme that combines well with the dreamy synth's.

Verdict - 10 out of 10.

Moving on to 'Ambulance', must say I 'j'adore' this tune. The synth's will make you weep with amazement, earthy with a touch of pan-pipe. Sweet as Mom's apple pie.

Verdict - 10 out of 10.

Moving back to 2002 with Seventeen - who would want to be a model anyway - Me, now take that polaroid !

Verdict - 10 out of 10.

Destroy Everything You Touch - Another Epic Video.

Verdict - Yep 10 OUT of 10.

Bonjour Monsieur

Monsieur Adi has produced some of the best remixes over the past year or so. Not sure if he has some sort of spethal relationship with Cherry Tree Records, but artists include FrankMusik, Ellie Goulding, Marina and The Diamonds and Spark. The mix of harsh synths, pretty strings and chopped up vocals make it his style instantly recognisable/lovable.

Monsieur Adi's solo bits and pieces like 'We Are The Romans' are just as epic. Latest track with Gary Go was probably number 1 in  parallel universe somewhere. That universe sounds like fun, we should defo pack a wicker basket full of Smirnoff Ices and just go. I'll get my mum to call in sick for us? She has a nokia 3310 and loads of different covers.
